This is a graceful yuzen uchikake from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
Pine tree and ume blossom motifs are dyed elegantly all over it! In many parts, fine embroidery is added not only in the back but also in the sleeves. Couple of cranes are dyed and embroidered near the bottom.
Please enjoy its fabulous yuzen and embroidery details with more photos.
Embroidery stitches are coming off in couple of parts. There are other slight flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this graceful purple Taisho uchikake!
