This is a kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women. This piece is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989), and has eye-catching yuzen dyed pattern.
Royal cart, fan, 'kicho'( partition used by noble people in ancient days), pine tree and stream are dyed boldly and artistically. In the both sides, fine and gorgeous embroidery is added.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has some small patinas, stains and very slight discoloration. As a whole it is in very good condition.
