This is a set of 8 sheet of 'semamori' embroidery.
In the back(neck part) and bottoms of belts of child kimono, 'semamori' embroidery is added usually.
It is for the charm to guard children.
Various 'semamori' embroideries are made in the thick 'washi'(Japanese paper).
It seems to be from pre WWII.
Sheets have patinas, but as a whole they are in very good condition.
*size 9.6 in ( 24.5 cm) x 6.5 in ( 16.5 cm)
