This is a regal black Furisode from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It has fabulous flowers and pine tree motifs all over it, which is dyed with yuzen technique. Fine and gorgeous embroidery is added all over it. Its yuzen and embroidery work is fabulous! You must tell its quality also from photos.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
Black color is vivid and alive, but there are patinas and slight smudges all over it. There are a few stains. As a whole it is in very good condition and very beautiful piece!
