This is a quite rare Hinagata book(pages of kimono designs) of Meiji era. There is no date stated, but we believe this piece comes from the late 1800's. It contains 50 pages of Meiji style kimono designs. All the pages have a touch of warm colors, which are elaborately hand drawn. This book has its distinctive style of designs in Meiji era. Its styles' characteristics are very reserved, soft touched, and very clam compared to the ones from Taisho era. Most of the designs in this book are landscapes of old Japan. This book is worn out over all; however, the condition it is in is quite superb. The pictures are clean and unharmed. There are some stains and discolorations on front and back of the book. The bind is still tight. This is a vintage piece in a great condition.
