Have you ever seen a maru obi like this piece? Chrysanthemum and MUSICAL NOTE are woven! I can't belive this maru obi is from 100 years ago! (This piece is considered to be from Meiji period(1868-1912)). Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch. It has a slight folding line and there is a tear on it(near the one end). There are several small stains and frays in the corners and hems. As a whole it is in very good condition. Museum class piece! *Approx background color - HTML code ( 56462B)
