This vintage ryozuma(mirror image design) kurotomesode has rare and appealing design - 'karako'(karako is child figure in China) are playing 'gagaku'(Japanese traditional music and dance). Fan, cord, flowers and scenery motifs are also dyed, and fine and colorful embroidery is added in both sides. Its yuzen and embroidery work are choice!
It is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989), and has wonderful old fashioned taste.
It has some flaws as photos show, and black color is very slightly discolored. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
