This is a vintage kappa from early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989) or earlier.
It is made of fantastic weft ikat kasuri cotton, which has elegant peony and pine tree motifs, which was hand woven elaborately. It has very soft and comfortable touch. It is lined with beautiful hand woven cotton fabric.
It has a hole. Inside has more than several holes and some stains. As a whole it is in very good condition.
