This is a firemen's jacket from mid Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It is made of layered cotton, and sashiko stitches are done all over it ( machine sewn). This piece has artistic 'matori'(scene of battle the fires) motif, which is dyed in the lining. It is very thick. It has some holes, frays and stains, but as a whole it is in very good condition. *Approx background color - Black Softness ( Exceptionally Soft, Soft, □ Medium, Comparatively Stiff, Stiff ) |
