This is a 'nenneko' from mid Showa period(Showa:1926-1989) or earlier. It is for mothers with their babies on their backs. It has unique pattern, which is woven(meisen). House, tree and geometric pattern are woven.
Textile has very smooth touch.
It has some stains, patinas and smudges as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
