This is men's black formal haori with unique pattern lining. Textile is exquisite habutae silk, and has very smooth touch. In the lining it has wonderful 'Kanjincho' motif, which is woven finely. It is a famous noh play, which is written on an old story. Yoshitsune and Benkei were fleeing from Yoritomo with mountain priest camouflage, and at a checking station they were almost fould out. To get through the risk, Benkei beat his lord Yoshitsune. Checking men let them go although they knew who they were. It has some slight flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
