This is a vintage maru obi from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It has rare stunning design - shishi, dragn and crane are woven with gold threads.
What a fabulous design it is!
60% of the both sides are patterned, and the rest part is blank.
It has frays in the corners. It has a small hole in the blank part. There are a few slight small stains, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this fabulous vintage maru obi!
