This is a kimono silk fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This houmongi has elegant flower motif, which is dyed with yuzen technique.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has slight discoloration in the left chest, and also discolorations on both shoulder line, which are quite prominent(sorry we do not have the photo of the part).

It must be an excellent material for your handicraft!
*You need a lining fabric to sew houmongi from this fabric. And sewing houmongi is very difficult, and it is a work for professionals.
