This is a vintage futon cover made of asa, Japanese hemp. It has exotic paulownia and orizuru(origami crane) motifs, which are dyed with katazome(stencile) technique.
Textle has special kind of rough touch of asa, and dyed to natural ai blue.
Padding is removed. ( You can take both sides of fabrics. Double of above size)
It has many stains and holes. However, it is still very charming piece! |
