This is a vintage noboribata, flag. It was the flag of a drama group. Kanji characters read 'Inae-za', which is the name of the group. It is made of medium thick cotton, and characters are dyed with tsutsugaki technique. It has a few small holes, a repaired tear in the hem ( approx 10cm- 3.9in long). There also are some stains, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
