so, Montreal and the Japanese Cultural center is having their annual Matsuri (http://festivaljapon.com/)
Sadly I cannot attend has my friend's wedding falls on the same day, it got me very sad.
I was interested in Japanese culture since I was 14 and now i'm 21. I love the country, the culture and the kimonos. I've always wanted a furisode and a yukata. :) My yukata is on the way,I can't wait to receive it! I've always wanted Okobo too, but those are very hard to find :( But hopefully one day I will have them.
I like kansashi alot, but those are also very expensive,and to my knowledge, hard to find out of japan.
when I was younger, I wanted to get married in the japanese tradition of the Sansan kudo ceremony. My mother always loved the uchikake! We also have the japanese garder in the botanical garder of Montreal where I love to go to relax.
